We use QuickBooks Online for client accounting. All client financial data is handled per our service agreements and IRS-compliant security standards.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could be linked to you (“personal information”):

 

How your information is collected

Name, email, phone, mailing address, IP address are collected through Contact forms, emails, site visits.

Professional/Financial information like Business details, bank info (for services only), QuickBooks login credentials (client-provided) are collected through Client intake, service agreements.

Internet Activity information like Browser type, pages visited, cookies are collected through Automatic via site analytics and finally Inferences like Preferences for bookkeeping services are collected From interactions.

We do not collect sensitive personal information (e.g., SSN, full financial account numbers) via the website. Client financial data is processed securely in QuickBooks Online under separate agreements.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to inquiries and provide bookkeeping quotes.

  • Deliver services (e.g., QuickBooks setup, reconciliations, reporting) per U.S. GAAP and IRS rules.

VandenBerg Bookkeeping will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. VandenBerg Bookkeeping will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
